Veteran Breakfast
It is an absolute privilege to share a morning meal with these local heroes, creating a welcoming space where they can connect, swap stories, and build a lifelong network of peer support.
UTV Rides
2021: We officially launched our UTV program.
2022: The program quickly shifted into high gear, allowing us to share the open air across multiple states through 24 dedicated, high-energy UTV trail trips for veterans and their families.
2023: We expanded our impact into inclusive youth outreach, proudly hosting our annual Autism Awareness Day and community rides to give children an exhilarating, accessible gateway to the beauty of nature.
2024–2025: Our UTV operations secured a dedicated five-mile wilderness trail loop in South Glastonbury, ensuring we can continue sharing these incredible trail rides with our heroes for years to come.
Over the past three years, Open Doors Outdoors has been able to continue serving the community thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and event participants.
With more than 100 golfers, 20 sponsors, and numerous donated raffle prizes, this year's annual golf tournament fundraiser was another massive success. All funds raised go directly toward serving veterans, active-duty families, and young people.
Annual Golf Tournament
Open Doors Outdoors hosts an annual Autism Awareness Day featuring UTV rides, sensory-friendly toys, field day activities, and more! We believe that by reconnecting with the outdoors, children can accomplish anything—one kid at a time.
